Welcome!
The Musique (previously Musical Cacophony) is yet another music blog, but it’s way better than all the rest. The name is simple but I change the tag-line often to stand-out lyrics from songs- comment if you know which songs they’re taken from and there might be a prize (you guessed it, there won’t be a prize. Just the satisfaction of knowing you have an amazing taste in music).
I write about great new, and sometimes old, artists and also review albums and singles; if I like them they’re guaranteed to be good. Music I like to write about is usually quite ‘left-field’, for the most part classed as ‘alternative’, and by genuinely talented people. To give you a rough idea it’s probably as far away form Cheryl Cole and shows like X Factor as possible. My favourite artists are Marina and the Diamonds and New Young Pony Club but there are a LOT more.
I’m not a journalist or complete musical expert, but they’re both things I’m interested in so I’ll give it my best shot to write informative, interesting and fun posts! I hope that this blog gets bigger and better as it goes along so I’d love any feedback, comments and just anyone who reads any posts!
