I won’t go into depth about NYPC because I already did a post on them a while ago, but the video for the first single from their second album The Optimist is here! The first thing that strikes me about Lost A Girl is that it’s much darker than many tracks on their playful debut, but still remains catchy and upbeat with Tahita Bulmer’s trademark vocals thankfully not changing too much.The video is okay, it does complement the song well but I would have liked to see some of Sarah, Lou and Andy in there too.
If you’re quick, Lost A Girl is available from their site as a free download for today only! Eagerly-awaited album The Optimist will be released on the Ponies’ very own label The Numbers on 1st March.
